Tapputi is a platform where a merchant builds and runs a shop. This page says what we keep about you when you create a shop and use your panel, why, who sees it, and how you have it deleted.
What we keep, and why
- Your phone number: we send it a code to confirm it is yours, and it finds your shop when you come back.
- Your shop's name, kind and address: to set up your shop, which your customers see once it opens.
- Your password: the sign-in system keeps it encrypted one way, so we cannot see it.
- Your Google email and account id, if you sign in with Google: to let you into your panel with it. We ask Google for nothing else.
- Your shop's logo and the photo of your payment receipt: the logo for your shop, the receipt to confirm your subscription is paid.
- What you add in your panel, such as products, photos and settings: to show it in your shop.
- To protect accounts: when you sign in to your panel we keep the network address and browser type; when you create a shop we keep an encrypted fingerprint of the network address and the device, not the address itself, to limit abuse. Creating a shop also passes an automatic check that you are a real person.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data or share it for any advertising.
- We set no tracking or advertising cookies. Your panel uses cookies needed to keep you signed in only, and the site keeps a draft of what you type on your own device.
Your shop's customers
- Your customers' orders, names, numbers and addresses belong to you. We hold them for you to run your orders, and use them for nothing else.
Who sees your data
- You and the people you add to your panel, and the Tapputi team when it reviews your shop or helps you.
- We use providers to send verification codes, to host the site and its images, and for the security check. They use the data to provide that service to us only.
- We use an AI model that reads your shop's name and kind to check the name and write your shop's first words, and reads the photo of your payment receipt to help us review it.
- Review alerts reach the Tapputi team through a messaging app, with the receipt photo, your number, and your shop's name and address.
How long we keep it, and how you delete it
- A shop whose panel you never entered is deleted after 3 days, and a shop not yet opened that you leave idle is deleted after 14 days, with everything in it and its receipt.
- You delete your shop yourself before it opens, from the page that created it or from your panel.
- To delete an opened shop and all its data, message us on WhatsApp and we delete it completely.
- Security records are deleted after one year.
